Customize how your name appears in chat.
Nicknames allow you to change the name other players see when you talk in chat. This is a cosmetic feature meant to give players personality and expression while keeping chat readable and fair.
Unlocking Nicknames
Nicknames are unlocked through rank progression.

Adept Rank
- Unlocks the ability to use nicknames

Master Rank
- Unlocks colored and formatted nicknames
Nicknames do not affect gameplay and are purely visual.
Setting or Resetting Your Nickname
Commands
/nickname <name> /resetnick

/nicknamesets your nickname -
/resetnickrestores your name to your original Minecraft username
Advanced Nickname Formatting (Master Rank)
At Master rank, you can customize your nickname .
It allows:

Custom colors

Gradients
-
Bold and other text styles
This gives you full control over how your nickname looks in chat.
Understanding Color Codes & Formatting
Plain Nicknames (No Formatting)
/nickname TTDSaint
Your nickname will appear in the default color (white) with no styling.
Single Color (Hex Color)
We support hex color codes, which look like this:
#20c3d0
Hex colors:

Represent a specific color

This makes your nickname a single custom color.
Gradients (Multiple Colors)
Gradients smoothly blend multiple colors across your nickname.
Gradient Format

Each color must be a valid hex code.

Nickname Rules & Limitations
To keep chat clean and fair:

Overly disruptive formatting may be reset
Staff may reset nicknames that violate rules or affect chat clarity.
Tips for Custom Nicknames
