Your safe starting point on every CubedWorlds server.

What Is Spawn?

Spawn is the first place you arrive when joining a CubedWorlds server. It’s a protected safe zone designed to help you get oriented, access server features, and start your adventure without risk.

Every modpack has its own unique spawn, built around the features and progression of that pack — but they all share the same core purpose.

Spawn Is a Safe Zone

Spawn is fully protected:

  • No PvP

  • No mob damage

  • No block breaking or griefing

This gives you time to:

  • Load in safely

  • Learn how the server works

  • Access shops, menus, and information

  • Ask questions without pressure

Admin Shops

Spawn contains Admin Shops, which allow players to buy and sell specific items at fixed prices.

  • Admin shops use barrels

  • Prices are set and consistent

  • Transactions use the server’s currency system

Admin shops are designed to:

  • Help new players get started

  • Provide a reliable way to earn or spend money

  • Stabilize the server economy

Crates

Crates are special reward containers located at spawn.

What Are Crates?

Crates can be opened using crate keys and give a random reward from a selected pool of items. Rewards may include:

  • In-game currency

  • Useful items

  • Rare rewards

  • In some cases, in-game ranks

Where Are Crates?

  • Crates are physically located at spawn

  • You can also teleport directly to them using:

/warp crates

How Do I Get Crate Keys?

Crate keys can be obtained through:

  • Server events

  • The store

  • Voting

NPCs & Helpful Features

Spawn includes various NPCs that provide quick access to important features, such as:

  • Auction House NPCs

  • Server menus

  • Information and guidance

More NPCs and features may be added over time as the server evolves.

How you leave spawn depends on which modpack you are playing.

These servers share the same general exit options:

Random Teleport (RTP)

/rtp

  • Randomly teleports you within the current dimension

  • Can be used in all dimensions except The End

  • Great for finding a place to start your base

Dimension Portals

/warp portals

  • Takes you to the server’s dimension portal area

  • Provides access to portals for the modpack’s dimensions

  • Safe and organized way to travel between worlds

All the Mods: To the Sky

This server uses a completely different system due to its Skyblock-style progression.

Leaving Spawn (Skyblock)

You can leave spawn in one of two ways:

/skyblock gui

  • Opens a menu to choose your starting island

OR

  • Walk into the Skyblock portal at spawn

  • The same island selection menu will open automatically

This ensures every player starts with:

  • A fresh island

  • Controlled progression

  • A fair Skyblock experience

What You’ll Always Find at Spawn

Every CubedWorlds spawn includes:

  • Admin shops

  • Helpful information to get started

  • NPCs with useful features

  • Crates and warp access

  • Clear paths to begin gameplay

Each spawn is custom-built for its modpack, so layouts and available features may vary — but the goal is always the same:
