ATM9 Legacy Support (What It Means)

ATM9 still has players, and we don’t want to just kill it overnight.

So here’s the plan:

We are keeping ATM9 hosted (for now)

We will continue hosting ATM9 until the playerbase naturally winds down.

BUT; ATM9 is now “Legacy Support”

Maintaining full MMO feature parity across ATM9 and the new standard servers would slow the entire network’s expansion.

So ATM9 will remain up with reduced maintenance:

We will keep hosting the latest version of the modpack
MMO features will gradually stop receiving updates there over time
Certain legacy systems may fall out of date or stop being maintained on ATM9 specifically (discord linking, player shops, etc)

ATM9 becomes the “legacy experience” for players who prefer ATM9’s gameplay mechanics or want to finish their journey there.

Playtime forwarding

Your ATM9 playtime has already been migrated into ATM10 (one-time) as part of the revamp migrations.
Any new playtime earned on ATM9 from this point forward will NOT forward into ATM10.

Store/rank changes

We will be cutting back on rank purchasing and simplifying progression on ATM9 over time, and as of this post, atm9 store packages are not yet available

(Exact store changes will be communicated separately if/when they go live.)

ATM9 PvE 2 is shutting down

To make room for new modpacks:

ATM9 Server 2 will be shut down.
If you have progress/bases you want moved to ATM9 PvE1:
- Open a Discord ticket
- Staff will help migrate your base/progress where possible
